The premise of the exhibition is simple. Harbours and Havens assembles 60 works made between 1998 and 2023, which, placed in geographical order, might describe an imaginary tour from north Devon, around the coast of Cornwall, south Devon and Dorset, crossing to the Isle of Wight, back to mainland Sussex, skimming past Kent and Essex to finish in Suffolk. Not all of these halts are strictly harbours or havens. Yet all are distinctive, worthy of discovery.
