My work reflects a deep and long-term fascination with the geology of landscape, and how it is shaped by both human activity and the forces of nature to become a multi-layered evolutionary history with powerful contemporary resonance. All the work you can glimpse in this catalogue is about a journey in the imagination through the landscape. My paintings and prints are about spirit and sense of place, an understanding of different landscapes, their contours and unique history.
