Contraband’ captures the landing points along the South Coast that were the haunts and hideouts of smugglers in the Eighteenth Century.  This latest series of paintings explore the seaside towns, fishing villages, beaches and coves of Cornwall, Devon, Dorset and Sussex, famously immortalised in the poems and novels of Daphne Du Maurier, J. Meade Faulkner and Rudyard Kipling.
